Sleep Disorders

We treat sufferers of sleep disorders including sleep apnoea, a debilitating disorder affecting a large number of people in Australia today.

Symptoms include day-time sleepiness, inability to concentrate during the day, and sleep which is not refreshing. Sufferers are at risk of falling asleep whilst driving, for instance.

We liaise with sleep professionals and can arrange for a sleep study to be performed to determine if a condition exists, and to what extent. Mild and moderate sufferers can be treated with a dental mandibular advancement splint which helps to maintain an open airway during sleep, and which can reduce snoring.
