Your smile no longer needs to be compromised because you require a filling. Tooth coloured composite resin fillings enable you to receive the restorative treatment you need whilst retaining a beautiful natural looking smile.

One of the most appealing attributes of composite fillings is they can be colour matched to your natural teeth, making them almost impossible to distinguish, even to the trained eye. They also require less natural tooth structure to be removed during preparation than a traditional silver amalgam filling and can often be completed in a single appointment. Such is their popularity, many people are also choosing to replace their existing silver fillings with composites.

Once only applied to front teeth where the biting force is lighter, the development of materials now enables composite fillings to be successfully placed on back teeth. Developed by combining resin material with hard plastics, silica and quartz, white composite fillings are placed in layers and hardened with a specially developed curing light before being sculpted to the contour of your tooth and buffed to a tooth-like translucency for a natural appearance.
